How to Delete a Netflix Account
To delete a Netflix account, you need to follow these steps:
- Log in to Netflix:
- Go to the Netflix website (https://www.netflix.com/) and log in to the account that you want to delete.
- Access Account Settings:
- Once logged in, hover over your profile icon in the top right corner of the Netflix homepage. In the drop-down menu, click on “Account.”
- Manage Profiles:
- Under the “My Profile” section, you will find an option called “Manage Profiles.” Click on it.
- Click on the Profile to Delete:
- In the “Manage Profiles” section, click on the profile that you want to delete. If you want to delete the main account, you will need to cancel your subscription (see the next step).
- Delete Profile:
- Once you are in the profile settings, there should be an option to delete the profile. Follow the on-screen instructions to delete the selected profile.
- Cancel Subscription (Optional):
- If you want to delete the main Netflix account and cancel your subscription, go back to the account settings and look for an option related to canceling your subscription. Follow the steps to cancel your subscription.
- Confirm Deletion:
- Follow any on-screen instructions to confirm the deletion of the profile or the cancellation of your subscription. Confirmations are often required to ensure that you are making these changes intentionally.
