How to Delete a Trello Account
As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, you can delete a Trello account by following these steps:
- Login to Trello:
- Go to the Trello website (https://trello.com/) and log in to the account you want to delete.
- Open Account Settings:
- In the top right corner, click on your profile picture or initials to open the account menu.
- Go to Account Settings:
- From the dropdown menu, select “Settings.”
- Find the Account Section:
- In the settings, look for the “Account” section.
- Account Deactivation:
- Scroll down to find the “Deactivate Account” option. Click on it.
- Confirm Deactivation:
- Trello will ask you to confirm the deactivation. Follow the prompts to confirm.
- Delete Account:
- After confirming, Trello will deactivate your account. It may take some time, and you’ll receive an email notification once the process is complete.
Please note that the steps and options may have changed since my last update in January 2022. If you can’t find the account deactivation option in your account settings or if there are any changes to the process, I recommend checking Trello’s official help documentation or contacting Trello support for the most accurate and up-to-date information.
Always be aware that deleting your Trello account is irreversible, and you’ll lose access to all boards and data associated with that account. If you have important information on your boards, consider exporting it or making necessary backups before proceeding.
