How To Delete Languages On Duolingo
ByHopkins
As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, Duolingo does not provide a feature to delete languages directly from the user interface. However, you can remove a language course from your Duolingo profile by following these steps:
- Log In:
- Log in to your Duolingo account.
- Go to Settings:
- Navigate to the settings menu. This is typically represented by a gear icon or your profile picture in the upper right corner.
- Select Learning Language:
- Look for an option related to “Learning Language” or “Course.”
- Manage Courses:
- Find a section or option that allows you to manage or add courses.
- Remove Language:
- Within the course management section, you should see a list of languages you are learning. Find the language you want to remove and look for an option to remove or reset progress for that language.
- Confirm:
- If prompted, confirm your decision to remove the language from your profile.
Please note that the user interface and features of Duolingo may change over time, so the steps might be subject to updates. If you can’t find the option to remove a language, check Duolingo’s official help documentation or contact their support for the most accurate and up-to-date information.
Remember that removing a language will reset your progress in that language course, and you can re-add it later if you decide to resume learning.
