How To Delete Quora Account
If you’ve decided to delete your Quora account, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it:
- Log In:
- Visit the Quora website (www.quora.com) and log in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Account Settings:
- Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner to open the account menu. From the dropdown menu, select “Settings.”
- Account Tab:
- In the Settings menu, click on the “Account” tab on the left sidebar. This is where you can manage your account settings.
- Deactivate Account:
- Scroll down to the bottom of the Account settings page. You will find the “Deactivate Account” section.
- Deactivate Account Button:
- Click on the “Deactivate Account” button. Quora may ask you to enter your password for verification.
- Select Deactivation Reason:
- After entering your password, Quora will prompt you to select a reason for deactivating your account. Choose the reason that best fits your situation.
- Confirm Deactivation:
- Once you’ve selected a reason, Quora may ask you to confirm your decision. Confirm that you want to deactivate your account.
- Deactivation Completed:
- Quora will then deactivate your account. Your profile will be hidden, and your content (answers, questions, and comments) will be anonymized. Your account information will still be retained by Quora.
